Embroidery requires professional knowledge, and not just any!
Embroidery is a very complex work process, it cannot be compared with printing a T-shirt, which can be completed in 5 minutes.
First of all, we have to digitize all inscriptions and patterns with a separate software, the management of which requires graphics expertise.
Hatch Embroidery Digitiser software
Here, we import the given text or image into the software, and during designing we also determine the type of stitches and thread directions of the given pattern.
It should be taken into account that we have to plan the design with millimeter accuracy, because the embroidery machine always creates the pattern based on this. This requires extremely high concentration and graphic skills.
The number of stitches, i.e. the number of strokes of the needle of the embroidery machine, depends on the complexity of the pattern. The higher the number of stitches, the longer it takes to embroider the pattern. Furthermore, the machine cannot be left alone, it requires constant attention while embroidering.
When we set the price of one of our products, we take into account the number of these stitches, because one pattern is ready in half an hour, while another requires 2 hours. We have to make price differences, not only because of the material costs, but also because of the extra time and energy consumption.
So, in summary, the material cost includes threads of several types and colors, the energy consumption of the machine, the purchase of T-shirts of various types and colors, and the time of digitization and final embroidery takes, which, as already mentioned, also depends on the complexity and size of the design.
We see creativity not in serial production, but in the distribution of completely unique pieces made with great attention and love
- thereby making sure that the products we make will not come across you at every corner!
Finally, it is important to point out that embroidery has outstanding durability, which is an advantage over average T-shirt printing and sublimation. That is why the embroidery will not wear off after a few washes, nor will it lose its bright colors, because we always use premium quality thread.
Another advantage of embroidery over printing is that it gives an embossed 3D effect on the given material, be it a t-shirt, jacket, bag or socks. Thus, under the influence of light, the pattern can shine in several colors, which also gives an extravagant appearance!
